Greenleaf Book Group Wins Big in the 21st Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition

August 19, 2008 (Austin, TX): Greenleaf Book Group, LLC, a publisher and distributor based in Austin, TX, had the honor of receiving several awards in this year’s 21st Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition. With an entry of only five books total, Greenleaf took home three of the four awards presented in the Book Jacket category. Publishing Executive and Printing Impressions magazines, co-sponsors of the Annual Gold Ink Awards, announced that Greenleaf won a Gold award for Stimulated!, a Silver award for The Age of Engage and a Pewter award for When the Apple Falls. This is the second year in a row that Greenleaf has won the Gold award in this category.
As a Gold Ink Award winner, Greenleaf Book Group will become a member of an elite group of the most respected and influential creators of printed work this country has to offer. Its award-winning work will also be honored at this year’s Gold Ink Banquet and Hall of Fame Gala, considered by many printing and production professionals to be the industry’s premier networking event. In addition, Greenleaf will be highlighted in the October 2008 issues of Publishing Executive and Printing Impressions.
This year’s Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from nearly 1,500 entries submitted within different categories. Winning pieces surpassed their competitors based on print quality, technical difficulty and overall visual effect to become the year’s best printing in North America.
