All three authors cited above definitely have "hawt love scenes". While I'm still in anticipation of Marilyn Brant's novel, she's promised me an inspiring, and hot, heroine. My ARC is set to arrive in a few weeks and I will be holding a giveaway for a signed copy on my blog! I am a recent convert to the romance genre myself (thanks to the research in writing this), and will be picking up a title or two while I wait for my own "alpha male with the squishy center"! A place where I can lose myself in the characters' struggles to find love. (And if you add a few hawt love scenes ... well, I'm very satisfied! *wink*) I'm not sure where/when romance got this "bodice ripper" "too stupid to live heroine" reputation, but today's romance stories are about feisty, kick-ass heroine and alpha males with the squishy center only she can find.
