What’s new on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books List

McLEAN, VA, September 30, 2009 — Here’s the latest book buzz from USA TODAY with a highlight of tomorrow’s Best-Selling Books list:

• Creepy as it may be, sleeping with your father sells books. Mackenzie Phillips’ High on Arrival, in which she confesses to having a long-term incestuous relationship with John Phillips of the ’60s band the Mamas and the Papas, enters USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list at No. 14. The controversial book also has family members taking sides on whether her allegations of incest are true.

• What’s under the dome? Stephen King fans have to wait until Nov. 10 to peek inside his new horror novel. But they’re getting glimpses of the Under the Dome jacket, which is being rolled out in segments at stephenkingunderthedome.com. It will be revealed in its entirety on Monday. The 1,088-page novel, about a Maine town that becomes trapped under an impenetrable bubble, is being touted as his biggest since The Stand.
