Christmas Fun Today…or “All Business”? Snowman Anyone…

By Kyle McNeil - Dec 21 , 2010
Look it’s Santa! Flashing lights, reindeer flying in the sky, a Christmas tree that tipped over, and delicious Christmas cookies.
Managing all the pressures of Christmas can be really stressful! But we can cast aside the anxiety and “business persona”, turn the Christmas lights on, and fire up Bing Crosby, because it’s time to celebrate the blessings in our lives!
These are the top 2 steps, as inspired by yesterday’s post, and one is completely new!
1. Set priority on what matters most. There’s no better time to be reliable, present and open to your family and friends, so they can fully “get” how much you appreciate them.
“Gifts of time & love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas.”
- Peg Bracken
2. Build something with kids, whether it’s a puzzle, legos, or a snowman. This is such an amazing time of year for them. Being with them in this energy is nothing short of gold. This video may or may not be representative of that…haha.
There is something counter intuitive thing about the holiday season and your business. And, the best thing you can do for business is turning down those activities, to re-connect with the playful moments of life, and people you cherish the most. This will leave you more energized and inspired for the new year ahead.
Try it out! Have some fun with the above ideas and enter the joy of Christmas TODAY!!
Imagine what would happen if you did this …
