Five years ago, it is so hard to get tips on writing a book for free. Thanks to the Internet, and to many generous writers who share their experience, this information is available much more easily. It comes directly from authors who want to provide a roadmap using their own challenges in writing a book, and from people from all walks of life who are willing to connect with you and share great ideas with everyone who wanted to write a book but somehow could not.
If there’s one thing I want to do in my lifetime, it’s writing a book. I love writing because I can speak my mind freely and express what I feel. I can be very idealistic or I can be very critical. Either way, people will read and respond, and maybe react to what I have to say. The big question is how will I start transferring those ideas in to a hard bound book (or an e-book)?
Great books come from great ideas. Every one of us has an idea for something. Almost certainly, you have a great idea squirreled away somewhere. It’s not a question of forming an entirely new idea, but of recognizing the one you already have. So do this. Make a list of:
- Things or places you dream about; detail these thoughts as they come to you
- Your passions: what makes you feel most alive in life?
- Your hopes: these might include changes you want in your life, your government, even in your religion. This may even be possible inventions that can change the world forever.
- Fond memories of your childhood or teen age life. Look back and see the events worth repeating in the past.
These are just a few of the things that can help you create an idea that can soon become a great book.
Writing a book is a time-consuming process but if you love what you are doing because you talking about things that you love and things that make you come alive then every second is worth it rather than pain staking.
Now what is your great idea for a book?
