Working all day with business owners to have a message to share is my blessing. Assisting them in finding ways to communicate their authentic message is a treat and my favorite way to spend my days. Sometimes though, it’s work. The work is in the business owner having the balls to really uncover what message they’d like to share. Getting to the meat of the message isn’t always a cake walk. It requires bravery, willingness to share and a ton of courage!
If a business owner that is passionate about their message can share authentically from the heart, magic happens! That’s right, I said Magic.
Consider why authenticity creates magic in communication? Because at the end of the day, we all want to feel connected. We as humans all want to have an experience of knowing that we’re not alone. What I’m going through is the same as what someone else is going through. And that where I’m at right now, is just a phase, or a rhythm. It’s just a moment in this journey and someone else is in the exact same moment. How powerful is that!
An example of this is one of my favorite bloggers, Danielle LaPorte. She continuously shares from her heart, shares what she’s experiencing and guess what…it works. She is brave enough to share from the bottom of her soul on a regular basis. She has built her whole business sharing her soul and selling her soul 🙂 Her messages are real, from the heart, and not afraid to show the light and the dark side of who she is and what she’s going through.
If you’re a writer, blogger, author I encourage you to step up and be brave. Share your soul. Share your soul with valor and pride. Let your audience connect with YOU. The you that you are when no one is looking. Heck, maybe knowing that you’re a role model for many will encourage you to hold yourself to a higher standard when you’re alone!
I love getting to know the magical folks who are sharing their souls with the world. Do you know any authentic bloggers or writers that you’d like to share with all of us?
